Rains of Castamere - Game of Thrones Cover by malufenix @ YouTube
I've been waiting for her to do this cover ever since I saw this video of her "messing" GoT's main theme song awhile ago:
Malukah has such a lovely voice, which I think sounds perfect when she sings bard styled songs. I was first introduced to her music by my boy who was scouring the internet searching for how to play Skyrim's theme on piano. He showed me her version of Dragonborn Comes, and Age of Aggression, her earliest covers of the songs from the video game Skyrim. Later on, she also added Age of Oppression (it's basically the same song as "Age of Aggression" on the video game except different lyrics -- AoA is sung by the Imperial side while AoO is sung by the Storm Cloaks, but Malukah did a different arrangement for the song here so I actually enjoyed this later version even better) and Tale of the Tongues, my favorite Skyrim song, a heroic poem styled ballad.
Anyway, when I first heard her sing Dragonborn Comes, I had wished she would do songs from ASOIAF because of the similarities between the two stories: Dragons! King Slayer! So I literally squee-ed when I saw her humming the tune of GoT! And at the same time, I had wistfully hoped she would also give "Rains of Castamere" a shot. I'm so glad she finally did it. I really enjoyed her version of the song. Like her take on Tale of the Tongues, her voice here lends this masculine toned ballad a softer melodic quality that I find quite lovely. :D

I have a little girl!crush on this girl right now. She's so talented and has such a cute smile.
Speaking of crushes, (and staring at your icon) I adore Jensen singing Angeles as well. I downloaded the song from iTunes, and listens to it everyday. I showed the video to my gf who do not watch SPN. She loved it and demanded where can she find other recorded songs sang by Jensen. She loved his voice. I had to tell her that's the only one.
here, check this out:
also, you can at least show her this. ;ppp

In "Crazy Love", Jensen was only a backup again. Although I really like Jason's voice, my friend was asking to hear Jensen singing solo. ;)
I showed her Jensen singing "The Weight" in JIBCon. She loved it despite the recording was nowhere near the professional level that "Angeles" has. I just wish Jensen would record more singles in the future. *fingers crossed*
